At The House of Ibana, we understand that the anticipation of receiving a handcrafted treasure is part of the experience. Because our jewellery is created using time-honoured techniques like Jadau and Meenakari, we prioritise safe, secure, and transparent delivery over speed.
Below are the details of our shipping process, designed to bring the soul of Indian craftsmanship to your doorstep.
1. Dispatch Timelines
Every Ibana piece is a labour of love. Our dispatch times vary based on the nature of the creation:
- Ready-to-Ship: Pieces currently in our inventory are typically dispatched within 2–4 business days.
- Made-to-Order & Bespoke: For pieces that are crafted specifically for you or are currently out of stock, please allow 3–4 weeks for production and quality checks before dispatch.
- Combined Orders: If your order contains both ready-to-ship and made-to-order items, the entire order will be shipped together once the final piece is ready.
2. Domestic Shipping (Within India)
- Delivery Time: Once dispatched, orders usually reach major metros within 3–5 business days and other locations within 7 business days.
- Shipping Charges: We offer Complimentary Standard Shipping on all domestic orders .
- Courier Partners: We partner with premium logistics services to ensure your jewellery is handled with the utmost care.
3. International Shipping
- Global Reach: We proudly ship to patrons worldwide. International deliveries typically take 10–15 business days post-dispatch.
- Shipping Fees: Costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination country and the package weight.
- Customs, Duties & Taxes: All international shipments are sent on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. Any import duties, custom fees, or local taxes levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid to the courier at the time of delivery.
4. Secure Packaging & Handling
Your jewellery travels in our signature tamper-evident packaging.
- Insurance: Every shipment is fully insured by The House of Ibana until the moment it is delivered to you.
- Signature Required: To ensure your piece reaches the intended hands, all deliveries require a signature and Id Proof upon receipt of the order. We do not deliver to P.O. boxes or secure lockers.
- Tamper Warning: If the outer courier seal or "Tamper-Evident" tape appears broken or resealed, please refuse the delivery and notify our concierge team immediately.
5. Tracking Your Journey
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email and a WhatsApp message containing your Tracking ID and a link to follow your package in real-time.
